Windermere is excited to offer very limited access to some incredible tours and experiences at the Seattle Art Fair from August 4th-7th. Below, you will find an outline and an explanation of each tour/event.

Private Collection Tours & Experiences
Thursday, Aug 4th 10am-11:30am: Henry Art Gallery Experience
A private, before hours walk through of Paul McCarthy White Snow, Wood Sculptures Exhibition with Luis Croquer, Deputy Director of Exhibitions, Collections, and programs. Breakfast reception to follow. Location: 4100 15th Ave NE Seattle, WA 98105

Friday, Aug 5th 8:30am-11am: Microsoft Private Collection
A private tour at the Microsoft Campus featuring highlights from the Microsoft Art Collection, including recent commissions and acquisitions currently displayed on Microsoft’s East Campus by artists including Jaq Chartier, Scott Chico Raskey, Tessa Hulls, Daniel Rozin, and Dave Bloomfield. Tour will be led by Microsoft Art Collection Curator Lele Barnett.
Location: Tour departs from the CenturyLink Field Event Center: All guests will arrive and depart via complimentary shuttle.

Friday, Aug 5th 9:30am-11am: Frye Art Museum
Guests will enjoy a continental breakfast reception in the Museum’s Garden and a private tour of three special exhibitions led by the Museum’s Director, JoAnne Birnie Danzker. Location: Frye Art Museum, 704 Terry Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104

Saturday, Aug 6, 9:30am-11am: Benaroya Private Collection Tour
A private tour of the home and collection of Rebecca Benaroya. Since they began collecting in the early 1980s, Becky and her late husband Jack assembled a renowned collection of more than 225 works including studio art glass and important paintings and sculptures by renowned Northwest artists. Location: Tour departs from CenturyLink Field Event Center Entrance. All guests will arrive and depart via complimentary shuttle

Saturday, Aug 6, 9:00am-10:30am: SAM Event
A private before-hours walk through of the newly opened exhibition Big Picture Art After 1945. This exhibition will celebrate works which Virginia and Bagley Wright have generously given to the SAM. Location: Seattle Art Museum, 1300 1st Ave, Seattle, WA

Sunday, Aug 7th 10:00am-11am: MadArt Gallery Talk
MadArt will offer a private studio talk and tour of their current exhibit, Portfolio of Possibilities, by artists Amie McNeel, Mark Zirpel, and Sam Stubblefield. Created over four months in MadArt Studio, this kinetic installation explores oceanic and celestial themes through multisensory sculptures.The artists will be available to speak about their process and the ideas behind their work.
